Heavy Hitter V2 Talaria Skid Plate
The Heavy Hitter V2 Skid Plate is a billet aluminum motor protection system built for e-moto riders who push hard on technical terrain. Designed to shield the motor from rocks, roots, logs, and hard impacts with a 10mm thick replaceable bash plate, it is tested to withstand over 6,500 lbs of force. The strongest motor protection available for the Talaria Sting platform.

The V2 design solves the fitment issues of earlier versions, clearing the EBMX XTA Core motor and all current aftermarket motors without modification. Strike angles are engineered to slide over rocks, roots, and logs instead of hanging up, keeping the bike moving forward through technical terrain. The extended tail section adds extra rear coverage, and ventilation slats keep your motor cool during hard riding. If you do manage to damage the bash plate, it is replaceable in minutes. Side rails carry a lifetime warranty: bend them and we will replace them for free. This is the last skid plate you will ever need if you ride your Talaria the way it was meant to be ridden.
Installation note: We recommend using blue medium thread locker on all hardware during installation. Mounting bolts are T20 Torx bolts; recommended torque value is 2.6 Nm / 1.92 ft-lb / 23 in-lb. This is barely hand-tight, but as long as the blue medium thread locker is used and correctly applied, this will hold securely and be removable.
